What is Our Process?

Process and necessary supporting documents for filing a residency permit application with € 250.000 minimum investment.

  1. The contract
  2. One certified copy οf the contract of the purchase and transfer of the real estate is needed, which will be provided by the Notary Public.

  3. The transcription certifications
  4. The Mortgage Office and the National Real Estate Registry Office issue a certification each that the contract has been transcripted in their relevant Books.

  5. The notarial certification
  6. The Notary Public should issue a certification that the price of the real estate has been fully payed off and that the contract of the purchase and transfer of the real estate is not depending on any conditions.

  7. The insurance contract
  8. Each applicant should enter into a life insurance contract with a private insurance company (no minimum protection policies required).

  9. The photographs
  10. Each applicant should provide three (3) coloured passport photographs.

  11. The passport photocopy
  12. Each applicant should provide photocopy of his passport (including the page of his visa), certified by the Greek Embassy (if the certification can be done in Greece, relevant is any Greek Public Authority). This photocopy must be translated by the Translation Department of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs (translation fee is required, depending on the length of the document and on the applicable foreign language).

  13. The family certificates
  14. When the buyer of the real estate is interested in filing a residency application not only for himself but also for members of his family, a (prototype) Family Certificate at is required, issued by the relevant Authorities of the Country of his origin (which should contain the personal data of the members of his family and the relationship between them). Depending on the occasions and the Country of the applicant’s origin, other relevant certifications may be needed (such as marriage certification etc). These Certificates must also be translated by the Translation Department of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs (translation fee is required, depending on the length of the document and on the applicable foreign language).

  15. The proxy
  16. Each applicant should sign a Proxy to our Firm, in order to give us officially the power of attorney, to file the residency application and to do anything else necessary during this procedure. According to new regulations, the Proxy should be signed before a Notary Public only in Greek Territory. If there are minors between the applicants, the Proxy for them has to be signed by both parents.

  17. The application fee
  18. Each applicant should pay a Government Fee of 516,00 €.

  19. The fingerprints
  20. After the temporary residence licence is issued and before issuing the permanent one, the Residence Agency requires that the applicant gives his fingerprints. This procedure can be done only before the Greek Agency. So, it is imperative that each applicant should travel to Greece for this purpose.

Opening a Bank Account

For the opening of a bank account the following documents are required:

  1. Passport copy.
  2. Tax registration Number in Greece.
  3. Utility bill showing your name and the address.
  4. A letter from your bank, stating that you are a good and credible customer.
  5. A Statement from the bank showing the balance with the minimum amount required to purchase the property you are interested in.
  6. A copy of your account’s statements for the last two years. If you are working, a letter from your employer showing that you are employed, the employment period and your annual remuneration.
